What divisions (e.g., Prom, Pageant, Social Occasion, Bridal, etc.) do you design for and market?
We design and market Prom and Pageant gowns as well as custom-design Haute Couture Evening and Bridal that are geared to celebrity clientele. Divisions are: Diaa Designs, Diaa Signature Couture, Diaa Mzehem Evening, and Bridal Haute Couture.

What size ranges do you offer?
We offer a wide range of sizes; many depend on the cut of the gown. Most gowns range between size 0 – 20. Additionally, we are able to custom-cut many of our exclusive designs to any size or color not normally available.

Diaa Designs creations are a direct reflection of its design philosophy which particularly appeal to women of individual style. But what is truly unique about Diaa Designs is the commitment to offering value without sacrifice. We strive for a great cut, creating lines that flatter the female form. Each gown is hand-crafted with superb structure and fit, complemented by intricate hand-beading, crystals, and ornate embroidery, using luxurious French laces, sensuous chiffons, rich organza, smooth satins, and crisp taffeta in a wide range of colors.

How do you keep your design ideas current?
We travel the world for inspiration to keep our design ideas current, as well as attending runway shows and fabric markets locally and abroad. Also, we speaking to our authorized retailers and to the women who wear our dresses, always staying receptive to their ideas and suggestions.

What fashion looks and fabric-usage trends do you predict will emerge in the coming year or two?
One of the trends we’ll see emerging strongly in the coming year or two are looks inspired by past decades in a thoroughly modern way and the carrying over of the 2007 fashion concepts with their focus on Hollywood glamour, combined with dazzling details that highlight individual self-expression. The focus will be shifting more toward extravagant and sophistication, making red-carpet celebrity-inspired dresses and celestial themes extremely popular. Sequins and metallics, with rich gold and silver, will be big, as well as bold colors, playful prints, and fine-art-inspired designs. Also look for bright, spring colors and boisterous hues like lime, turquoise, fuchsia, and red that will continue to adorn the fashion scene in the coming year, along with detailed designs and embellishments.
