Miss American Coed Brings the Heat

Miss American Coed heats up the Hotlanta stage

 

The Miss American Coed Pageant kicked off the fall pageant season in style as state and regional titleholders traversed the country to compete for the national titles in Atlanta, Georgia. Four exciting days awaited the delegates as they would showcase their qualifications in the quest of the sixteen national crowns of Miss American Coed and Miss American Victory Queens awarded through the Miss American Coed Pageant organization.

Miss American Coed delegates pursue the titles of Miss American Princess, Miss American Sweetheart, Miss American Preteen, Miss American Junior Teen, Miss American Teen, Miss American Coed, Ms. American Coed, Ms. American Woman, and Ms. American Classic Woman. Victory Queens would capture the crowns of Miss American Victory Princess, Miss American Victory Sweetheart, Miss American Victory Preteen, Miss American Victory Junior Teen, Miss American Victory Teen, Miss American Victory Coed, and Ms. American Victory. The stage had been set for an exciting and glamorous national competition.

With so many titles and accolades at stake through the multiple divisions, the Miss American Coed pageant was a whirlwind of activity throughout the days and evenings. As the state and regional delegates moved through their busy schedules, they competed in the requisite Interview Appearance and Introduction, Interview (personal with each national judge), and Evening Wear. In a separation of the two national pageants, Miss American Coed’s top finalists would compete once more on-stage in both Introduction and Evening Wear. Optional competitions throughout the national event included Talent, Model, and Speech.

In addition to the required competitions of Miss American Coed, the Miss American Victory Queen contestants would compete in an additional optional on-stage performance judged by a separate panel of national judges. These included Actress, Modeling, Fashion, Talent, Speech, Cover Girl, Photogenic, and more.

However, Miss American Coed is more than just a busy schedule of competitions. It is a time for delegates and their families from varying backgrounds to come together in the spirit of pageantry and the chance to make new lifelong friends from across the country. After a full day of competitions, delegates and their families were feted during the glamorous Miss American Coed Gala, during which everyone could win prizes and gifts in the Miss American Coed Raffle. One of the coveted prizes was a Pageantry PodCast interview with Pageantry magazine CEO Carl Dunn. The second night of celebrations was an opportunity to relax and let loose during the colorful and extravagant Glo Party, where 80s styles and tie dye were the preferred ensemble.

After four days of intense competition, the judges made their unenviable decisions. The final day had arrived and the stage was set for the crowning of the new Miss American Coed national titles. Beginning with the Miss American Victory Queens: Miss American Victory Princess Lyla Grace Arzuaga, Miss American Victory Sweetheart Jessica Parés, Miss American Victory Preteen Emma Pitman, Miss American Victory Junior Teen Brooke Brown, Miss American Victory Teen Maria DeCaro, Miss American Victory Coed Madison Kennelly, and Ms. American Victory Erin Gaudreau.

The moment everyone awaited, the proclamations of the national Miss American Coed crownings, commenced. As the crowd of families and supporters cheered, the new national titleholders of Miss American Coed took center stage by division: Miss American Princess Ainslee Creel, Miss American Sweetheart Jessica Bernier, Miss American Preteen Marianna McCallum, Miss American Junior Teen Taylor Stuart, Miss American Teen Madison Thompson, Miss American Coed Kiersten Khoury, Ms. American Coed Taylor Murchison-Gallagher, Ms. American Woman Claire Johnson Allen, and Ms. American Classic Woman Cozette Wheeler.

As the Glamour Lifestyle Industry returns to some sense of normalcy after almost a two year off-and-on hiatus, the Miss American Coed Pageant proved pageantry is alive-and-well and the spirit of competition is as glamorous and exciting as ever.
