MR. BLACKWELL'S WORLD by Mr. Blackwell Richard Blackwell's fashion designs have graced such noteworthy people as Nancy Reagan, Mrs. J. Paul Getty Sr., Jayne Mansfield, Jane Russell, Ann Blyth, Zsa Zsa and Eva Gabor, as well as many political wives. The dictates of Seventh Avenue "enraged" Mr. Blackwell, so in 1960 he inaugurated "The List," announcing the Ten Worst-Dressed Women of the Year. In his career, he's outraged Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor, Bette Midler, Phyllis Diller, Lynn Redgrave, Whoopi Goldberg and Madonna. Today Richard performs at sold-out fashion extravangas around the country and is a most sought-after lecturer, columnist and entertainer. As a result, he continues to appear on such television "ratings winners" as Oprah, Inside Edition, Entertainment Tonight, Hard Copy,and American Journal.

CROWN TIPS by Katy Johnson Katy Johnson has been Miss Vermont USA 2001, Miss Vermont 1999, Miss Oktoberfest 98, and the YMCA Advocate for Values. Katy promotes her character education through her cartoon strip, The Six Starrlettes, her web site Pageant City and herbooks, True Beauty Pageants: A Sunny Face Means a Happy Heart, What's All the Noise About Boys? and A Pearl of a Girl. Katy is a fashion model who has starred in nine European movies. She is currently a law student at Stetson University College of Law.

An accomplished artist, she has had work on display at the United States Capitol Building in adition to many other awards. 	EDITOR Fred Abel, Pageantry's editor, is a magazine journalist whose career has included editing and designing several award-winning regional magazines in central Florida, where Pageantry offices are located. He graduated from Syracuse University School of Communications and also spent four years in Maryland as a reporter and editor. He lives in Orlando with his wife and their two daughters.
