Hanley House of North Carolina captures the rebranded title of Miss America’s Teen
The newly rebranded Miss America’s Teen delegates joined their sister Miss America state representatives in an exciting dual celebration of the new and positive direction of the organization, and these Miss America’s Teens were equally as poised, confident, and determined as their “big sisters.” Anew brnded name, new leadership, new venue, and a new hope for the future.
With all things new, throughout the week’s festivities following the arrival ceremony, the state queens were feted with special events such as the Royal Welcome Luau, Go Red for Women Gala in support of the American Heart Association, and excursions to Orlando, Florida landmarks such as Universal Studios, Dave & Busters, Miss America’s Red Carpet at Hard Rock Live, and the Miss America Magic Expo. These were all welcome respites from the intensity of competitions. However, each one of the contestants had her eye on the crown and on the title of Miss America’s Teen 2024.
With preliminary competitions complete, the packed auditorium would await the decisions of the judges during the final night’s extravaganza. As each of the initial eleven finalist’s states were announced, the excitement and anxiety were palpable to all in attendance: Miss America’s Teen Kentucky Sophia Todd, Miss America’s Teen Utah Jaylynn Lindley, Miss America’s Teen Tennessee Anna Grace, Miss America’s Teen Vermont Ginger Ragaishis, Miss America’s Teen Florida Anna-Katherine Risalvato, Miss America’s Teen Georgia Charlie Key, Miss America’s Teen Ohio Paisley French, Miss America’s Teen Texas Natalie Poveda, Miss America’s Teen Oklahoma Aubrey Bartmann, Miss America’s Teen North Carolina Hanley House, and Miss America’s Teen Hawaii Lauryn Trader. The stage was set for the final competitions of Fitness, Talent, and Evening Gown which would lead to the remaining Top 5 delegates vying for the crown of Miss America’s Teen 2024.
Following the evening’s initial competitions, the Final 5 were announced who then proceeded into the final question round. Questions were answered succinctly and with confidence, regardless of content. Which of these five young women would capture the crown and title of Miss America’s Teen 2024 and become a role model as an ambassador to our youth? With the crowd packing the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, the 2024 finalists class of Miss America’s Teen was proc: 4th Runner-up Kentucky, 3rd Runner-Up Texas, 2nd Runner-Up Oklahoma, 1st Runner-Up Ohio, and, representing North Carolina, Miss America’s Teen 2024 Hanley House.
