Miss Teen USA 2021 Breanna Myles knows the importance of giving back
Miss Teen USA and its 51 state delegates were welcomed at the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as they vied for the crown of Miss Teen USA. With a new director, Miss USA 2008, Crystle Stewart, the week would be unlike any in recent memory. It would be #pageantryreimagined.
Following a week of preliminary competitions, the finals of Miss Teen USA opened with an upbeat production number featuring the contestants in their matching ensembles of white skirts and pink letter jackets. Miss Teen USA had officially begun the countdown to a new representative of teens everywhere.
The top 16 Miss Teen USA finalists were quickly announced: Mississippi (Mattie Grace Morris), Utah (Ayzjiahna Wood), Wyoming (Treyn Thatcher), Louisiana (Gracie Petry), Pennsylvania (Yvonne Burke), Florida (Breanna Myles), Nebraska (Daisy Suddeth), Iowa (Angel Strong), Missouri (Anna Long), South Carolina (Augusta Roach), Maryland (Maria Derisavi), Wisconsin (Shreya Gundelly), Georgia (Liza Greeberg), Texas (Landry Davis), California (Cameron Doan), and District of Columbia (Hannah Gilliard).
Time for the onstage Miss Teen USA competitions, which would narrow the field to a final five. After competing in the Fitness (Athletic Wear) and Evening Gown presentations, the delegates of Utah, Texas, Pennsylvania, Florida, and District of Columbia would advance to the final Round of Questions.
Whom had impressed the judges in the quest of the Miss Teen USA title and crown? Fourth Runner-Up Utah, and Third Runner-Up Pennsylvania were declared. With the announcement of Miss Teen USA, District of Columbia became First Runner-Up and Breanna Myles of Florida was proclaimed Miss Teen USA 2021.
